The Information Services Desk is staffed by knowledgeable library assistants who are members of the Public Services Team.

Team members can:

  • Help you find information about books and other resources held in campus libraries.
  • Answer questions about our holdings.
  • Offer advice on where and how to begin a literature search and provide ongoing assistance with database searches.

Staff at the Information Services Desk can also put you in touch with help for using our wireless network and can provide many other types of assistance with inquiries related to your academic, research or patient care information needs. You can contact staff at the Information Services Desk virtually using Zoom during available hours, by phone or email.

Between 10:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. the HSL’s Information Services Desk team is offering 30-minute appointments, bookable in advance, for information help via Zoom.
