Research Impact Workshop

The importance of being able to critically evaluate the impact of a piece of research cannot be overstated. The McMaster Health Sciences Library offers a wide variety of tools that can help.? This introductory Research Impact Workshop, which is taking place December 10th from 10:00 – 11:00 AM, will give you the skills and resources to tackle any of your research goals, whether you are identifying key publications for review or tracking the influence of your own research over time.

By the end of the workshop, you will be able to:

1. Critically engage with a variety of research impact indicators, such as Journal Impact Fact, h-Index, Normalized Citation Count, Altmetrics.
2. Evaluate your own research impact and identify benchmarks for continued success.
