Open Access Week 2021
Once again, the Health Sciences Library is pleased to announce that it will be celebrating Open Access Week from October 25 – October 31. Over the course of the week, the HSL will be hosting three events where you’ll have a chance to learn all about Open Access, play games, and have a chance to win prizes.
So, what is Open Access? Why should you participate in Open Access Week?
According to the Open Access Week homepage, Open Access is “the free, immediate, online access to the results of scholarly research, and the right to use and re-use those results as you need”. By attending and participating in Open Access Week, you’ll be able to learn how to maximize your research, identify an Open Access journal, and how to make the most out of all the resources available to you.
What workshops are being hosted?
